NUT President Bags WAER Awards, described Christmas As period of Peace.



The National President of Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Titus Audu Amba, has described Christmas as a period of peace, were mankind should love one another.

Titus Amba disclosed this during an award presentation bestowed on him by the West Africa Educational Reporters in Kaduna on Sunday.

The NUT national President urged both Christian's and Muslims to unite and forget their differences, in the interest of growth of the nation.

He appealed for peaceful conduct of the 2023 general election, and hoped that people will come out and elect credible leader.

The NUT President expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the awards and commend the West Africa Educational Reporters for choosen him for such an award.
He described the award as a testimony of the selfless work which is collective by the Nigerian Union of Teachers.

Comrade Amba dedicated the award to the entire family of the NUT. 

Earlier, presenting the award, the leader of the West Africa Educational Reporters, Comrade Musa Mohammed said the West Africa Educational Reporters bestowed awards on those that make appreciable impact in various sector across West Africa region.

He said, Comrade Audu Amba is a visionary leader and an icon par excellence.

"This award is an important recognition of the efforts and commitment of the NUT President" he added.
