Coalition for Good Governance and Economic Development (CGGED) as a group of concerned Nigerians  that Fuel subsidy should removed to allow the market forces of demand and supply to determine pump price of petroleum henceforth. In a press release signed by the National Coordinator, Comrade Usman Abdulkadir and made available to the press on Wednesday, the group explained, their  decision to support the removal of fuel subsidy is because, it discovered from the  advantages of removing the fuel subsidy far outweighs the disadvantages business and economic development . The National Coordinator also  explained the  failure of previous administrations to take decisive steps in order  to stop importation of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), and outright removal of subsidy was the reason behind the  recurring scarcity and fuel queues at our filling stations across the country . BY COMRADE MUSA MOHAMMED The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani has approved the appointment of Senior Government Officials expected to fill key positions in the administration of the State. The immediate past Secretary to the State Government, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal was retained in view of his vast experience in governance to assist in the smooth take-off of the administration. The Governor also retained the services of other senior members of the Nasir El-Rufai Administration to provide the link between the two administrations. Muhammad Hafiz Bayero will serve as Senior Advisor Counsellor to the Governor, while Barrister James Atung Kanyip and Chris Umar have been appointed Deputy Chiefs of Staff to the Governor. Dr. Shehu Usman Muhammad and Bulus Banquo Audu were appointed as Counsellors to the Governor.
