When I cautioned and opposed the $350million World bank LOAN for Kaduna state, i was vilified, attacked and persecuted for Eight years, and even attempts were even made on my life. Kaduna borrowed $340 million when the value of the dollar was 400 naira. Now they have to pay with a naira value of 1000 Naira and counting. The so-called project financed by the loan cannot generate the revenue to pay the loan. The day of reckoning is here; the state is strangulated, suffocated, stagnated and stranded in Debt that it cannot pay. It’s the second most indebted state in the country after Lagos.  Lagos has a strong industrial, Banking, Commercial and maritime base to generate enough IGR to service their debt.  Most of the industries in Kaduna are dead.
