Dr. Aisha S. Adamu bags Foreign Press Association medical award.




The Nigerian based renowned Medical doctor, Dr. (Mrs.) Aisha Shehu Adamu has bagged the 2022 prestigious Foreign Press Association (FPA) Medical award.

The award is one of the highest honour bestowed on practicing physician worldwide who have distinguished themselves among colleagues and in their community by their contribution towards the development of public health care.

The award is also bestowed on medical health Practitioners who excelled in the advancement of healthcare by their professional development through medical education and research.

Dr. Aisha humanitarian gesture in this area has earned her household name, not only in Nigeria, but outside the shores of the country. 
Her humanitarian work cuts across the length and breadth of Taraba State in Nigeria.


Aisha is currently the Medical Director Federal Medical Centre Jalingo Taraba State in Nigeria.

The awards were presented to a group of individuals from around the world for their outstanding contributions to public health.

The 2022 FPA public Health awards took place at Florida USA, which celebrates people and institutions for successfully addressing a huge array of health challenges around the world.

APC Crisis: There are heavy moves to oust Ganduje.

Reports gathered that the move by the presidential aides and associates of the president is aimed at altering the zoning of offices in the APC, which would see the national chairman of the party coming from the North-Central.
