Senate 2027: No Better Candidate Than Yerima Shettima Abbas

Image
By Comrade Musa Mohammed 2027 general elections, the time for the people of Kaduna Central to put on their thinking cap has come. This is no time to pander to political party supremacy without questioning. Political parties, as has been emphasized over time are simply vehicles for promoting the vision and aspirations of the individuals, particularly in the Nigerian context without a clear-cut ideological foundation for the political parties. From our experiences so far, there is no gain in saying the fact that the calibre of people elected as leaders determines the quality of democratic dividends that would be delivered to the citizens.    It is out duty to elect someone like 'YERIMA SHETTIMA ABBAS' who I believe would deliver the devidens of  democracy to make the lives of the people of his Constituency better.  With...

From the sacred hills of Moroa in Kaura LGA, a new political sound echoed through the valleys—the name was APC. Yes, All Progressives Congress is no longer a strange chant in these parts; it has become the language of gratitude, the dialect of hope, and the rhythm of identity. For years, Southern Kaduna had wandered the wilderness of political confusion, lost in the thick fog of recycled promises. But just like the story of Pharaoh in the book of Genesis—a good Pharaoh who remembered Joseph and preserved a nation—Nigeria too has found its “Good Pharaohs”: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani. And yes, the people of Southern Kaduna say with joy: This Pharaoh is different. This one listens. This one blesses! What else do you call it when the Chief of Defence Staff, a son of the soil, General Christopher Musa Gwabin, work...
