As Nigerians across the nation mark Democracy Day, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State and National Coordinator of the Tinubu-Uba Leadership Network (TULN), Hon. Victor Mathew Bobai, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani for what he described as their tireless commitment to deepening democratic values and delivering people-focused governance.

In a press statement issued in Kaduna on Thursday, Bobai described both leaders as “true democrats” whose political journeys are marked by sacrifice, vision, and a deep sense of duty to the Nigerian people.

“President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani are not just administrators; they are democratic warriors who have consistently placed the interest of the people above personal ambition,” he said. “They are humble, pragmatic, and purpose-driven leaders who understand that democracy is not about promises — it’s about performance.”

Bobai, who is also the convener of TULN, a grassroots-driven political mobilization network aimed at advancing the legacies of the Tinubu-Uba alliance ahead of the 2027 elections, said that Nigeria's current democratic landscape has been enriched by the leadership energy and reformist mindset of the two leaders.

“As our nation reflects on over two decades of democratic rule, what citizens want today are solutions, not slogans. They want leaders who show up, take bold decisions, and unite rather than divide. That’s what Tinubu and Uba Sani represent,” Bobai added.

Describing President Tinubu as “a revered visionary and unrelenting optimist,” Bobai said the president’s voice continues to echo across generations as a beacon of national renewal, political courage, and economic restructuring.

“His journey from the trenches of political opposition to the highest office in the land is a testament to what conviction, resilience, and democratic faith can achieve,” he said.

Turning to Kaduna State, Bobai praised Governor Uba Sani’s leadership as bold and reform-oriented, emphasizing his focus on infrastructural modernization, youth empowerment, and security-driven development.

“Governor Uba Sani is redefining governance in northern Nigeria. His transformation agenda has turned Kaduna into a model of inclusive growth, smart urban planning, and transparent public service,” he noted.

Bobai concluded with a rallying call to citizens and political actors to defend Nigeria’s democracy and work collectively to build on the progress made.

“Today, we honor not just our democracy, but those who are making it work. The Tinubu-Uba partnership is not about politics; it’s about purpose. And through TULN, we are taking this message to every community, every youth, every voter — because 2027 is not just another election; it is a continuation of a democratic vision that works,” he declared.
