Summit Post News has apologised to the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Dutsima Katsina State. A state issued by the organization’s Editor in Chief of Summit Post, Nelson Omonu, explained that the publication by Summit Post on FUDMA and its Vice Chancellor, Professor Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi “How Sex For Marks, Admission Racketeering, Others Denting Fed. University Dutsin-Ma” has been discovered to be false and fake. The author of the recent write-up titled “Journalist Hangout Report“ with a byline by Dr. Yusuf Maikano and widely circulated in the Social Media has retracted the said write-up. The author of the write-up who is the Deputy Director Public Relations and Protocol, Federal University Dutsin-ma, Katsina state, Isiyaku Yusuf Karofi has accepted being the originator of the write-up. The retraction is contained in a re-joinder by the author, Isiyaku Yusuf Karofi, in which he apologised to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi, his family, friends, the Federal University Dutsin- Ma and the general public on the embarrassment the write-up might have caused the Vice Chancellor and his family.
