PROFESSOR ARMAYA'U BICHI BAGS MEDIA AWARD.




The Present leadership of Federal University Dutsanma has brought about rapid constructions and re-constructions of vital structures.

The Vice Chancellor  Professor Armaya'u Hamisu Bichi disclosed this while responding on the award of excellence bestowed on him  by the Arewa Media Practitioners on Wednesday.

The vice chancellor, said apart from the synergy between academic and non academic, the leadership has brought about fraternity between lectures and students.

He said the leadership has dismantled division in the University.

He promised to to further push greater the university.

"In the next three years we will establish a teaching hospital that will be a first class institution for training".

 "Our management are committed in establishing a teaching hospital that will be named MUHAMMADU BUHARI TEACHING HOSPITAL".

"The university is making necessary contacts with the federal ministry of health seeking the release of Federal Medical Center katsina to be converted to a teaching hospital".

He therefore urged the federal government to release the medical center for conversion as teaching hospital.

 "If the federal govt release the medical center would adequately be used as teaching hospital", he added.

Earlier, the National President of the Arewa Media Practitioners Comrade Musa Mohammed said that  the vice chancellor of Federal University Dutsanma University Prof. Armaya'u Bichi deserves the award  bestowed on him by the Media Practitioners, as a result of his stewardship.

The president said that In the recent years, Prof. Bichi have made so many tremendous achievements in improving good and quality education in the institution and Nigeria at large.

“He is among those who have distinguished themselves in their field of endeavour”.
