Almustapha Balarabe Bags Media Award




The National President of Arewa Media Practitioners Comrade Musa Mohammed said that, Alhaji Almustapha Balarabe the head of local government administration, Mani local government area of katsina state, deserves the award bestowed on him by the Arewa Media, as a result of his stewardship during his term as head of local government administration in Zangon Daura local government area.

Comrade Mohammed made the statement during an award presentation to Alhaji Almustapha Balarabe on Wednesday in Mani local government area.




The President said Almustapha Balarabe has proven that he understands the meaning of public Administrationand the way it works.

He said the Head of the local government administration is in his element as a thorough bred public servant.

Responding, Alhaji Almustapha Balarabe expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the awards.

He expressed delight for the award.

He said, "Iam quite humble by the award selection committee for finding me Worthy".

He promised to continue uplifting the local government area.

Customs Kano/Jigawa, Dialogue With Stakeholders On The Collection Of 4% FOB

By Comrade Musa Mohammed  The Nigeria Customs Service Kano/Jigawa Area Command has held a stakeholders meeting on the collection of 4% Free On Board (FOB), insisting that the new revenue law was in the interest of all stakeholders, including exporters, importers, customs agents, among others. The Area Controller, Comptroller Dalhatu Abubakar, has said that, the 4% FOB collection was temporarily suspended because the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) contract with the service providers has been terminated. Comptroller Abubakar made the statement during a sensitization of importersand stakeholders on the collection of 4% free collection on board, organized by Nigeria customs service Kano/jigawa command which took place on Wednesday. He explained that, Nigeria customs service will begin to collect the 4% FOB by itself once the suspension is lifted.
