 Driving Schools Unite Under DSAN-Kano in Kano State. 

A significant milestone was achieved in the driving school sector in Kano State with the unanimous adoption of the Driving School Association of Nigeria (DSAN) - Kano. 

This development follows a meeting of all proprietors of driving schools in the state, convened at Sayyara Driving School.The meeting, which took place on 10th August, 2025 at 2:00 pm, saw the participation of proprietors who collectively agreed to migrate their membership from different associations to DSAN. 

This move is aimed at enhancing collaboration, standardizing driving instruction, and promoting road safety in the state.During the meeting, a new management team was elected to lead the association and oversee its activities. This team is tasked with ensuring that the association's objectives are met, and that the driving schools in Kano State operate in accordance with the highest standards.

The Driving School Association of Nigeria - Kano is a duly registered body representing the interest of proprietors and instructors within Kano State. DSAN was established in response to the growing need for organized representation and advocacy for Driving school proprietors and instructors, with a focus on enhancing service delivery, road safety, and effectively collaboration with regulatory bodies. 

The association is committed to working closely with the Kano State Government to promote road safety and ensure that the state's roads are safe for all users. This aligns with the policy thrust of the state government under the leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The Ministry of Transportation, FRSC, VIO, KAROTA, DSS, police, Civil Defense, other stakeholders and the general public are hereby informed of this development and assured of the association's commitment to enhancing road safety in Kano State.The new Chairman: Mallam Khalid Yusuf Mohammed call on Learners of motor vehicles, tricycles and motorcycles to always patronize Driving schools for effective and efficient training.

 He also reiterates the importance of cohesion amongst all members and warned them to desist from shortchanging the system. We look forward to working with all stakeholders to achieve our objectives.
