BABBAR HARKA RESOURCES AND GLOBAL LINKS BAGS WAADEWA AWARD.



Babbar Harka Resources and  Global  Links Limited producers of "Babbar Harka Fertilizer", awarded with award of excellence by the West Africa Agricultural Development Writers Association as "Icon of Community services".


The award was presented to the Managing Director/ CEO of the company, Alhaji Nasiru Babbar Harka in Kaduna, on Monday in the presence of the company Directors

Maharazu Mukhtar, Surajo Aliyu Kurfi and other staffs.


Babbar Harka Resources and Global Links Limited, produces fertilizer and Agro inputs for farmers in different parts of Nigeria.






Presenting the award, the president West Africa Agricultural Development Writers Association Comrade Musa Mohammed, said it’s due to proficiency of  Babbar Harka Fertilizer brand integrity, customer retention and prompt service delivery, that’s why the award selection committee considered the company and bestowed the award.


Receiving the award, the MD/ CEO, said, the company’s objective is to boost organic Farming in Nigeria and make Agriculture a very viable business.


He said awards will inspire their company journey of standard quality-driven success.


 Alhaji Maharazu Mukhtar the Deputy Managing Director, and Alhaji Surajo Aliyu, the consultant of the company, both expressed delight at the recognition and commended the organizers for creating an invaluable platform for awarding the company.

Taraba Correspondents' Chapel calls for the removal of Commissioner of Information, Zainab, boycott govt's activities

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Taraba state chapter, has passed a vote of no confidence in the state Commissioner for information and re-orientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo. In an emergency Congress meeting held at the chapel Secretariat in Jalingo, the union also resolved to boycott all Taraba state government activities henceforth. In the Congress resolution signed by the Resolution Drafting Committee chairman Mr Charles Akpeji, the union decried what they described as a neglect of journalists and the profession, sighting the commissioner's deliberate and continued sidelining of the press during major state functions. Fraud, Impunity: Allegations of Selling An Oil Pipeline Involving LG Council Boss, Others

By Our Correspondent An alarm was raised by concerned citizens of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State, alleging that some oil pipelines have been dug out illegally and sold by some individuals, including the current LG Council Chairman Hon. Isma'ila Zakari a.k.a Dangote. The group, which spoke to journalists under the condition of anonymity, made available some photographs of the pipelines, including a short video clip. They noted that the pipelines were linked up to Borno State and have been underground for many years. They accused the council chairman, Hon. Sama'ila Zakari, of conniving with some unpatriotic persons and selling some of the pipelines. The group called on the state government and the security operatives in the state to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.
