Also, the managing Director and CEO of DIVA NIGERIA RICE LTD, Mrs Ifeyinwa Nnanna Mba;the executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA Hon. Hammed I.D. Tijani and his Bariga counterpart, Hon. Kolade Alabi David and the General Overseer of Life of Freedom Ministry,Ifako Ijaiye,Lagos are among the distinctive leaders that have been listed for this year’s edition of the Prowess University honorary doctorate awardees billed for next week in Lagos. 

They are also expected to join wife of the executive governor of Kwara state and founder of Ajike People’s Support Centre, Her Excellency Amb. Dr Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq who also made the list for the honour.Lead Consultant and CEO of PEEKSGREY GROUP, Remi Olukoya and managing Director/CEO of Maison Hills Properties Limited, Ms Anwuli Walters Okeke who will bag doctorate degree award in Real Estate Development.


According to the African Representative of the Prowess University in Africa, Professor Prince Eze C Nwuaba, ” Amb Dr Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq,a former minister/Head, Consular Education and Welfare Section, Nigeria High Commission, London has remained a beacon of hope for the people of KWARA state through the creation of AJIKE PEOPLE’S CENTRE, an NGO she uses to reach out to the needy across the state.”

He further said, ” over the years,she has always been a strong campaigner committed to tackling threatening challenges affecting the safety and development of women,youth and the needy.We recognise her positive contributions to the victims of gender-based violence, sexual abuse and rape who have no access to support and counselling”.


The program is powered by LEADTIMES Africa magazine in conjunction with the Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies (IAMPS),the body that coordinates the activities of Prowess University, Delaware, USA in Africa and International Institute of Strategies Development (IISD).


According to a press statement credited to Professor Buba S Mshelia, Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa magazine and Professor Prince Eze C.Nwuaba,the Registrar of IAMPS and African Representative of Prowess University, Delaware USA, prominent Nigerians who have excelled in their professional calling will be conferred upon with honorary doctorate degrees of Prowess University, Delaware USA; while others will as well be inducted as fellow of Chartered Institute of Arts Professional and Fellow of International Institute of Strategies Development (FIISD) respectively’.


Those nominated for honour are singled out for such recognition due to their enormous contributions and selfless service to humanity over the years’, the university don further stressed.

The theme of this year’s edition is titled: Promoting Religious and ethnic Co- existence in Africa through Good governance in Leadership- Pathway to Sustainable growth and development in Nigeria.


Other nominees for the September event include Obiajulu Olabisi Ugboh,one of the TVC producers-Your View; Surv.Akinyemi Oluwatosin Augustine who is listed for environmental science; The two council administrator’s of Ojokoro and Bariga LCDA are well known as grass mobilisers with strong passion for their people.

They are very friendly to their people touching their lives in various ways that has led to sustainable growth and development, the statement added.Their transparent leadership qualities is not negotiate,hence their nomination, Prof.Eze further stressed.
Mr Felix King Eiremiokhae,CEO of Oracle Experience LTD including Dr Emmanuel King ,CEO of Adron Homes & Properties are among the awardees.
Others are Chief Ikeh Amobi,CEO of Sweet homes Bathroom Ltd; Habeeb Alebioso of Gasco Marine Ltd; Ezimoha Robert Uzozie,Deputy Bursar, University of Lagos; Ademola Adetifa,CEO of JOAS Integrated Service and CEO of CX Homes & Properties, Fabiyi Adetola Amos including Mr Obinna Azonobi, CEO of RealtyPros Investment Global Limited will all be conferred upon with various honorary doctorate degrees during the ceremony.

Mr Stephen Amaechi Chinemelem of FEDAN Investment Limited and Sir Osinachi Nnedu of Osifini Global Resources Ltd are also included in the roll call of honorary awardees of Prowess University. Group Managing Director /CEO of Matrix Energy , Abdulkadir Adisa Aliu; Mr Olumide Adeosun, CEO of ARDOVA PLC ;Group Managing Director of TECHNO OIL LTD,Mrs Nkechi Obi and Director of Almond College, Lekki, Lagos,Mrs Funmi Bolarin and Ogun State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure,Engr Ade Akinsanya are among the honorary doctorate award nominees of Prowess University come September in Lagos.

Three council Chairmen from Gombe state including the ALGON Chairman and Gombe LG chairman Alhaji Aliyu Usman Haruna will be honoured during the ceremony. An immediate past honorary doctorate awardees of Prowess University Amb.Dr. Adeshola Kayode Abiodun will be inducted as fellow of Chartered Institute of Arts Professional ( FCIAP) during the ceremony.


Olorogun Barr. Dr Joshua O. Muwhen, Executive Director of Delta Trust Mortgage Bank Ltd and Chief Dr Benard, managing Director designate of NDDC will also serve as special guests at the occasion. Dr Mrs Gloria Diri was conferred upon with honorary doctorate award of Prowess University. and was also inducted as fellow of Chartered Institute of Arts Professional(FCIAP) including few other notable Nigerians. 111 will serve as Royal father of the day at the occasion as Chief Dr Benard Okumagba, NDDC Managing Director designate and past honorary doctorate degree awardee of Prowess University as well as Olorogun Barr. APC Crisis: There are heavy moves to oust Ganduje.
