West Africa Educational Reporters, Common Wealth Tourism Journalists, Africa Crime Reporters Association, To Honour Comrade Titus Audu Amba With ‘Leadership Person Of The Year’ Award.
The National President of Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Titus Audu Amba will on Wednesday, 28th September 2022, honour with the award for “Leadership Person of the Year 2022”.
The West Africa Educational Reporters in collaboration with Common Wealth Tourism Journalists and Africa Crime Reporters Association (ACRA), had been named TITUS AUDU AMBA the Leadership Person of the Year 2022.
The award presentation ceremony will take place in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Coordinator of the West Africa Educational Reporters in Nigeria and also the 2nd Executive Vice President of the common wealth tourism Journalists, Dr. Mohammed Musa Mohammed said that the NUT President is a worthy recipient of the award “because for his key role in steadying the ship of state through the storms as well as laying solid foundation for the Educational development across Nigeria".
“We recognized Titus Amba’s hard work, outstanding performance over the years and his immense contributions to the country and humanity”.
The Coordinator stressed that the recipient was carefully chosen from a poll the associations conducted that covered more than 5,000 respondents. “Asides that, we decided that we will identify people that are instituting fiscal reforms in their organization, as regards transparency, accountability and probity”.
And the award selection committee which consists prominent and interlectuals, their findings revealed Titus Amba's prudent management of public resources, accountability, transparency and good Administration, that’s why they considered him”, he added.
