Madakin Zazzau Congratulates Emir of Zazzau on Second Anniversary of His Accession to Throne





His Highness Alhaji Muhammad Munnir Jaafaru congratulate the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness ,Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli on the second anniversary of his accession to throne.


In his message, the Madakin Zazzau expresses, in His personal name and on behalf of the Zazzau people, His warm congratulations to the Emir of Zazzau, imploring Allah the Almighty to grant him good health, tranquility and long life, and to the brotherly Zazzau people further well-being and prosperity, under the wise leadership of His Royal Highness Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli .

In a statement, Madakin Zazzau said: “It is a testament to your wisdom and leadership charisma that in only two year, you have been able to establish yourself as a unifying figure for Nigerians of all walks of life and calling, both in Zazzau and the nation at large.

Taraba Correspondents' Chapel calls for the removal of Commissioner of Information, Zainab, boycott govt's activities

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Taraba state chapter, has passed a vote of no confidence in the state Commissioner for information and re-orientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo. In an emergency Congress meeting held at the chapel Secretariat in Jalingo, the union also resolved to boycott all Taraba state government activities henceforth. In the Congress resolution signed by the Resolution Drafting Committee chairman Mr Charles Akpeji, the union decried what they described as a neglect of journalists and the profession, sighting the commissioner's deliberate and continued sidelining of the press during major state functions.
