GOMBE REVENUE BOSS, STELLA-RITA HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION CEO,OTHERS, FOR FELLOWSHIP INDUCTION IN LAGOS



Few selected professionals including captains of industry,technocrats are among the list of credible Nigerians to be inducted as fellow of Chartered Institute of Arts  Professionals (FCIAP) and International Institute of Strategies Development ( FIISD) respectively at the occasion of the 6th Annual Strategic Leadership Summit on good governance powered by Leadtimes Africa Magazine in Lagos later this year.Prominent among the fellowship inductees are the founder/president of Stella-Rita Awelle Humanitarian Foundation, Dr Mrs Stella-Rita Awelle Asogwa; the executive chairman of Gombe State Board of Internal Revenue, Dr Abubakar Inuwa Tata ;Dr Obinna Azonobi,CEO of Realtypros Investment Global Limited; and the Zonal Head,North East of FCMB, Dr Bala Baba Ma’aji who is also among the guests of honour at the ceremony.

Others listed for induction as fellow include the CEO of PIE  Management Technology and Educational Consultancy, Dr Isaac Chukwudi Ndupuechie; the Managing Director/CEO of KITAN Fashion House,Dr Akeem Ibrahim;Dr Remi OLUKOYA, Lead Consultant and CEO of Pecksgrey Group and Dr Peter Akindeju who is the GmD/CEO of Life worth HMO and Biopath Medical Laboratory and CEO of iCS Outsourcing.Dr (Pastor) Kennedy Osifo,Chairman/CEO of Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission and Dr  Nwanya -Alvin Anthony are all listed for fellowship induction at the University of Lagos come early December this year. Brigadier-Gen.Buba Marwa rtd, the NDLEA Chairman who is expected to bag the prestigious Leadtimes Africa Leadership Prize for Strategic National Development and Service to Humanity according to professor Buba S Mshelia, Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa magazine will also serve as Special guest at the occasion including the immediate past Nigerian Envoy to Spain Amb.Chief Dr Mrs Susan Aderonke Folarin.According to Professor Prince Eze Nwuaba, Registrar/CEO of the Institute of Arts Management And Professional Studies (IAMPS) who doubles as African Representative of Prowess University, Delaware USA and the Registrar/CEO of International Institute of Strategies Development, professor Barr.Joshua Alobo in a joint press statement opined that the selection was done transparently and recognition was accorded to those who have been making great strides in policy decision and quality administration in their professional career. In the last induction, FIRSTLADY of Bayelsa state Amb.Dr Mrs Gloria Diri; Amb.Dr Mrs Susan Aderonke Folarin ,immediate past Nigerian Ambassador to Spain and the Group Managing Director/CEO of VMC Group, Dr Azubuike Victor Chime were all  inducted as fellow of Chartered Institute of Arts Professionals(FCIAP) and Fellow of International Institute of Strategies Development (FIISD) respectively.Also at the ceremony, few Outstanding Nigerians will be conferred upon with the Prowess University doctorate degree award.

Taraba Correspondents' Chapel calls for the removal of Commissioner of Information, Zainab, boycott govt's activities

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Taraba state chapter, has passed a vote of no confidence in the state Commissioner for information and re-orientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo. In an emergency Congress meeting held at the chapel Secretariat in Jalingo, the union also resolved to boycott all Taraba state government activities henceforth. In the Congress resolution signed by the Resolution Drafting Committee chairman Mr Charles Akpeji, the union decried what they described as a neglect of journalists and the profession, sighting the commissioner's deliberate and continued sidelining of the press during major state functions. Fraud, Impunity: Allegations of Selling An Oil Pipeline Involving LG Council Boss, Others

By Our Correspondent An alarm was raised by concerned citizens of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State, alleging that some oil pipelines have been dug out illegally and sold by some individuals, including the current LG Council Chairman Hon. Isma'ila Zakari a.k.a Dangote. The group, which spoke to journalists under the condition of anonymity, made available some photographs of the pipelines, including a short video clip. They noted that the pipelines were linked up to Borno State and have been underground for many years. They accused the council chairman, Hon. Sama'ila Zakari, of conniving with some unpatriotic persons and selling some of the pipelines. The group called on the state government and the security operatives in the state to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.
