2023: House of Reps seat will give me more opportunity to empower my people – Bello El-Rufai




The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives for Kaduna North federal constituency in Kaduna State, Muhammad Bello El-Rufai has said that if elected, he will have more opportunity to empower his people, especially women and youths as well as physically challenged persons in the constituency.

"I will empowered people in the area of health, education, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) etc".


In this interview, he emphasised that if elected he would offer quality services to his people.
 

“Honestly what actually motivates my ambition of going to House of representatives to represent my people is to offer a selfless service to my constituency. And you know we have so many youths who are unemployed, so I will assist youths in my constituency to be self employed and also help the old and Disabled people in my federal constituency so as to reduce the level of unemployment among the youths and suffering among the old and Disabled people.

“You see the All Progressive Congress as the ruling party in Kaduna state has done so many things that has touched the lives of people in the state since it came into power seven years under the able leadership of His excellency Malam Nasiru El-Rufai.

And also the APC government in Kaduna state have engaged so many youths, women into productive ventures that will help and boost the party chances at poll very positively by the grace of Almighty Allah.

“I will make sure i did a lot  of things to my Constituency if giving the chance, i will empower so many people including youths and women in different areas of business with some token of money to start their own business and meaningful life to the betterment of our society and the country".

“I will helped students to gain admission in category of education through scholarship".

" I will engaged myself in different types of humanitarian works to help the society at large" he added.

Taraba Correspondents' Chapel calls for the removal of Commissioner of Information, Zainab, boycott govt's activities

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Taraba state chapter, has passed a vote of no confidence in the state Commissioner for information and re-orientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo. In an emergency Congress meeting held at the chapel Secretariat in Jalingo, the union also resolved to boycott all Taraba state government activities henceforth. Fraud, Impunity: Allegations of Selling An Oil Pipeline Involving LG Council Boss, Others

By Our Correspondent An alarm was raised by concerned citizens of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State, alleging that some oil pipelines have been dug out illegally and sold by some individuals, including the current LG Council Chairman Hon. Isma'ila Zakari a.k.a Dangote. The group, which spoke to journalists under the condition of anonymity, made available some photographs of the pipelines, including a short video clip. They noted that the pipelines were linked up to Borno State and have been underground for many years. They accused the council chairman, Hon. Sama'ila Zakari, of conniving with some unpatriotic persons and selling some of the pipelines. The group called on the state government and the security operatives in the state to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.
