Comptroller Musa Ibrahim Jalo highly experienced Customs officer, administrator and leader. 

He is currently theCustoms Area Controller of Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘B’ Kaduna, who took over the mantle of leadership of the unit as the 22nd area controller of the unit.

Compt. Jalo has been described as a Luminary Of Success Who Introduced New Concept In Customs.

An investigation conducted by team of journalists observed his tremendous success in his reforming agenda in Nigeria Customs service, in all where he worked or served.

It was a clear testimony that he introduced new concept that brings about radical change in customs service.

He has helped in significant role in customs service in the past and present.

When he was deployed as Customs Area Controller (FOU), federal operation unit zone 'B' kaduna, January 2023, Comptroller Jalo has set an unprecedented record, raking in a total of Three Hundred and Five Million, Seven Hundred and Ten Thousand, Five Hundred and Forty-Four Naira and Fifty-Five Kobo (#305,710,544.55k) only

His command under his watch achieved its highest monthly collection despite challenges here and there.

In his efforts to weaken the activities of smugglers in the Zone, the area controller and his team, the Federal Operations Unit Zone ‘B’ Kaduna, has from January to February 2023 made a total of 130 Seizures of different items at various locations in the Zone.

The  seized items include the following:

Units of Used Vehicles, 2 Units of Means of Conveyance, 724 Bags of Foreign Rice (50kg each), 6 Cartons of Foreign Machetes, 163 Jerrycans Vegetable Oil (25 litres each), and 646 Cartons of Foreign Spaghetti and Macaroni.

Other seized items are 90 Bales of Foreign Secondhand clothing, 569 packs of Foreign unregistered pharmaceutical products, 119 packs of unregistered Tramadol, and Tramaking 225mg 17 Sacks Foreign Secondhand Shoes, 7 Cartons of Foreign Cigarettes, 147 pieces of Foreign Jack Knives 50 Cartons of Foreign soap and 635 Kegs of Premium Motor Spirit (25 Litres each).

Therefore, Comptroller Musa Ibrahim Jalo is an Astute Administrator, Leader with Exceptional Quality
 and a luminary of success.

Taraba Correspondents' Chapel calls for the removal of Commissioner of Information, Zainab, boycott govt's activities

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Taraba state chapter, has passed a vote of no confidence in the state Commissioner for information and re-orientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo. In an emergency Congress meeting held at the chapel Secretariat in Jalingo, the union also resolved to boycott all Taraba state government activities henceforth.
