Buying new vehicles, waste of money, says gov, Uba Sani.

Gov Uba Sani Has Revealed The Real Reasons Why He Will Not Buy New Vehicles For His Convoy.

The Governor has made it clear that he will not be changing the vehicles used in his convoy, but will continue to use the ones left behind by his predecessor. He believes that this decision is in the best interest of the people of Kaduna State, as it will enable the state to channel its resources towards more pressing needs such as security and welfare.

He emphasized that his top priority is the security and welfare of the people of Kaduna State. He made this promise during his campaign and reiterated it during his inauguration on May 29th 2023.

Uba Sani believes that the resources of the state should be used to ensure the safety and well-being of the citizens, rather than on unnecessary expenses such as buying new vehicles.

According to the source, the Governor said, “unlike some states, all the vehicles in the Governor’s convoy are intact in Kaduna State and the vehicles are the ones I am using. I don’t need to waste public resources to buy new cars.

“The Governor emphasized that, he had promised throughout his campaigns and even while taking oath of office on May 29, to prioritize security and welfare of the citizens of Kaduna state, therefore he will use the commonwealth of the people to ensure their safety and wellbeing, not on frivolous things like changing vehicles that are not damaged.”

Sani's decision to continue using the existing vehicles in his convoy is a clear indication of his commitment to prudence and accountability in the management of public funds. He believes that leaders should lead by example and avoid wasteful spending, especially in a time when the economy is facing challenges.

According to the source, Governor Uba Sani also said that, “our government will be focusing on rural development to discourage rural-urban migration, which is putting unnecessary pressure on the facilities in the urban centers.

“He said, his government has plans to ensure standard education and primary healthcare, as well as security in the rural areas. This he said will make farmers stay back and concentrate on agriculture, which is the mainstay of Kaduna and Nigeria’s economy.”

The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has announced that he will not replace the vehicles used in his convoy with new ones. Instead, he will continue to use the vehicles left behind by his predecessor, Nasir El-Rufai.

Sani stated that unlike some other states, all the vehicles in the Governor's convoy are still in good condition and available for use in Kaduna State. He added that he does not see the need to spend public funds on purchasing new cars when the existing ones are perfectly functional.
