APC’s 2027 Blueprint Unfolds: Southern Kaduna Locks in Tinubu, Rallies Behind Uba Sani, Positions CG Musa as Game-Changer
February 27, 2026 | Zangon Kataf LGA, Kaduna State
Southern Kaduna has formally taken a decisive political position ahead of the 2027 general elections, resolving to stand firmly with the administration of Bola Tinubu and Uba Sani, while rejecting all attempts to introduce distraction politics under any guise.
This resolution was contained in a press release jointly issued in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area by the leadership of the Tinubu–Uba Leadership Network (TULN), under the coordination of Solomon Jacob Maiyaki, Jonathan Kibori, Husseini Modibo, Yuguda Musa, and Rebekah Shehu.
The coordinators stated that Southern Kaduna has concluded its political deliberations and will not entertain any structure, platform, or surrogate agenda aimed at weakening the region’s collective strength or distracting it from a clear pathway to relevance and development.
They described renewed attempts to recycle the politics of former governor Nasir El-Rufai—whether directly or through proxies—as deliberate noise with no political value, insisting that Southern Kaduna has moved beyond reactionary narratives.
“The past is settled. Southern Kaduna is not available for political nostalgia, proxy battles, or recycled grievances. Our focus is the future, and that future is already defined,” the statement said.
No Room for ADC or Any Protest Platform
The TULN leadership warned unequivocally that Southern Kaduna will not provide any space for the expansion or experimentation of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) or any similar protest-driven platform in the region.
According to the coordinators, ADC represents neither a governing alternative nor a viable route to influence, but merely an outlet for politically displaced interests seeking relevance through confusion.
“Southern Kaduna has made a deliberate choice. There will be no ADC drama here. Fragmentation is not strategy, and protest platforms cannot deliver security, development, or inclusion,” the statement declared.
They stressed that political strength is built through unity and proximity to power, not through symbolic opposition or emotional detours.
CG Musa: Central Pillar of Southern Kaduna’s Political Inclusion
The statement placed strong emphasis on the role of Christopher Musa Gwabin, describing the Minister of Defence as a central pillar in advancing the APC agenda and a clear product of inclusivity under the Tinubu administration.
The coordinators noted that General Musa’s continuous engagement across Southern Kaduna and beyond reflects a deliberate effort to stabilise the region, deepen trust, and mobilise support for the APC-led federal and state governments.
“General Christopher Musa Gwabin is not just a son of the soil; he is a strategic asset. His role in national security and his commitment to unity have strengthened Southern Kaduna’s voice at the centre,” they stated.
They added that the united leadership structure in Southern Kaduna, working in synergy with the Minister of Defence, has done everything necessary to secure overwhelming support for President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani ahead of 2027.
2027: A Referendum on Renewed Hope
The TULN leadership declared that the 2027 elections will serve as a referendum by Southern Kaduna in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that the region stands to benefit significantly from sustained alignment with the current administration.
They reaffirmed total commitment to mobilising youths, women, community leaders, and grassroots political structures across Southern Kaduna to ensure the return of President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani.
“This is no longer about personalities or distractions. It is about Renewed Hope, access, and the future of Southern Kaduna. Our decision is clear, deliberate, and irreversible.”
The statement concluded with a call on all political actors and opinion leaders to close ranks, resist engineered distractions, and work collectively under the APC umbrella to safeguard Southern Kaduna’s political relevance and developmental prospects ahead of 2027.
