‎FCT-Abuja — Following a series of consultations and passionate appeals from stakeholders, youth, women, and the good people of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi has formally accepted the call to serve.
‎
‎In a statement released today, Hon. Abdullahi declared his intention to contest for the FCT Senate seat at the National Assembly, pledging to represent the interests, aspirations, and future of all residents of the FCT with dedication and integrity.
‎
‎“I, Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, humbly answer the call of the good people of the FCT and hereby declare my intention to contest for the position of Senator to represent our great territory at the National Assembly,” he stated.
‎He expressed deep gratitude to all supporters and well-wishers:
‎“I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you for your trust, confidence, and belief in my leadership.”
‎
‎Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, emphasized his belief in divine guidance  and leadership: “Leadership comes from Almighty Allah, and He grants it to whom He wills. We pray that He makes us the best choice and grants us victory. Ameen.”

‎He concluded with a call for unity and collective progress:

‎“Together, we can make the FCT greater.”
