In Nigerian politics, the term “political mafia” and “game changer” often describes a behind-the-scenes strategist or godfather who reshapes the political landscape. It refers to the network of power brokers and financiers who influence electoral outcomes, appointments, and resource distribution.

In Kaduna State, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos has emerged as one of those key figures within the political establishment.

*A Grassroots Power Broker*  
Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos is widely regarded as a grassroots politician who connects directly with the people. He relies on clientelism, patronage, strategic alliances, and consistent outreach—especially to the needy—to build loyalty and support across Kaduna State.  

Rather than relying solely on the old political structure, he has mobilized the grassroots and forced the traditional establishment to adjust its approach. His style of politics has introduced new dynamics into Kaduna’s political space.

*Delivering Results*  
Supporters argue that he is currently one of the few politicians in Kaduna State with the capacity to deliver votes at the polling unit, ward, constituency, and LGA levels.

As the 2027 general elections approach, many believe he has the reach and structure to mobilize support for the APC at both state and federal levels.

His ability to mobilize large crowds at short notice and his years of political experience have earned him the reputation of a strategist who understands the Kaduna electorate.

*The Challenge Ahead*  
With 2027 on the horizon, Sadiq Mamman Lagos is positioning himself as a central figure in APC’s mobilization drive in Kaduna. 

Whether one agrees with his methods or not, his influence in the current political equation cannot be ignored.

Time will tell how his role shapes the outcome of the next elections in Kaduna State and beyond.
