No, I Didn't Convert — Shehu Sani Attends Sunday Service At Bishara Baptist Church, Kaduna


The APC Senatorial Candidate for Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, CON, today, Sunday, attended a church service at Bishara Baptist Church, Hadeja Road, Kaduna.

His presence at the church service sparked rumours in some quarters, with some persons spreading false claims that the former lawmaker had converted to Christianity.

The visit, however, was a solidarity and unity visit in line with Senator Sani's long-standing practice of identifying with both Muslim and Christian constituents across Kaduna Central.

Addressing the congregation, Senator Sani emphasized religious tolerance, peace and unity, noting that Kaduna's strength lies in its diversity. He urged both Christians and Muslims to continue to live in peace and reject divisive rumours aimed at creating tension.

Worshippers at Bishara Baptist Church welcomed the Senator, describing his appearance as a demonstration of inclusive leadership.

Senator Shehu Sani, a Muslim, has not converted to Christianity. Those peddling the conversion rumour are mischief makers seeking to score cheap political points, aides close to the Senator clarified.
